Concept & design
I collaborated with the original concept artist to refine and confirm the design before moving into 3D. The goal was to stay true to the character’s personality while preparing it for flexible use in multiple formats.
Workflow
The character was modeled and shaded in Blender, balancing low-poly efficiency with high-resolution detail for clean deformation. I also handled the full rigging process, designing it to be simple and beginner-friendly for KFC’s internal team, who were not 3D specialists.
Result
A production-ready 3D mascot, true to the brand’s identity, designed for both professional use and accessibility to non-3D artists.
